1. Who we are

Jimmy is a Telegram bot (@Hey_JimmyAI_bot) that helps you plan and review your tasks.

The project is run by Vasily Chernogorov (Василий Черногоров), author of the CALM method and creator of Jimmy. The product is currently in early access and is not incorporated as a legal entity: your data is handled by the author personally.

2. What we collect

Your Telegram ID, name and username — so we can recognize you between sessions.
The text of your messages and your tasks — so the bot can do its job (onboarding, the morning review, capturing tasks).
Voice messages — if you dictate a task. The audio is sent for transcription and is not stored on our side: only the text remains.
Technical data (request times, error logs) — to keep the service running reliably.

We do not ask for passwords, payment details or identity documents.

3. Why we use it

Only to make the bot work: to remember your context, review your tasks and reply to you. We do not sell your data and we do not use it for advertising.

Your data is not used to train language models — neither by us nor by the providers listed in section 4.

4. Who we share it with

To run the bot, your data is processed by our service providers:

Telegram — message delivery;
Railway — hosting;
Anthropic (Claude) — task analysis and generating replies;
OpenAI (Whisper) — transcription of voice messages;
Todoist — task sync.

Each of them handles your data under its own privacy policy.

Neither Anthropic nor OpenAI uses what we send them to train their models — that is a condition of the API access we use. Both may, however, retain what is sent for up to 30 days for abuse monitoring, after which it is deleted.

5. Storage and security

We keep your data for as long as you use the bot. Access is restricted and we apply reasonable security measures.

6. Your rights

You can ask us to show you your data or delete it at any time — write to hello@heyjimmy.ai or reach us on Telegram. Once it is deleted, the bot forgets you completely.

7. Changes

We may update this policy. The current version is always on this page.
