Jimmy — an AI assistant built on the CALM method: every morning it goes through your tasks and assembles the Day Focus.
AI assistant in Telegram · the CALM method
Every morning Jimmy goes through your list in Todoist and brings you the Focus — three tasks that close the day. Everything else waits its turn until the evening: zero overdue by morning.
Sound familiar?
You worked all day — and the list is longer than it was this morning. In the evening you look at everything still undone, and the familiar feeling arrives: didn't get there again. Failed again. That feeling piles up over weeks — and burns you out harder than any amount of overtime.
It is not discipline and it is not you: an endless list cannot be closed — so no day ever ends in a win. That is fixed by a system, not by willpower.
The picture of your day is smeared across apps: task manager, mail, calendar, messengers, notes. To answer "what is happening with me right now" you have to open five windows — and you do it many times a day. Every check costs minutes and a piece of your attention.
You worked all day: replying, firefighting, clearing the queue. In the evening you look at the list — the tasks with the biggest effect were never started. Operations ate them. This is not laziness: attention works this way, the urgent shouts louder than the important.
Zombie tasks drift from day to day for weeks. Everything is flagged important, the backlog grows faster than it closes, and opening the task manager is already unpleasant.
You will not do them all — and the list says nothing about which ones to do. You find that out only in the evening, together with the carry-overs to tomorrow and that same guilt.
How it works
This is the foundation, not a formality: you tell Jimmy about yourself, your business, your goals and your team — what a good day means for you. The connection itself takes a couple of minutes.
The morning starts with the review: what is burning, what matters, where to start. During the day Jimmy catches new tasks by text, by voice or from a forwarded message. In the evening it sums the day up and turns what you did not do into an honest carry-over.
Jimmy notices Stuck tasks and imbalances — and keeps the list in order rather than in chaos. Nothing gets lost or rots at the bottom of the list.
Three main tasks — a day you can actually close
The result without guilt: what is closed, what moves on deliberately
The week's results and the plan for the next one — what gets into your days
The closed loop of the CALM method: the day gets closed, the week decides what gets into the days. Today Jimmy lives in Telegram; a web version is on the way.
Your context
A chat starts from a blank page every time: you explain again who you are, what you do and what matters to you. An assistant does not work that way — it accumulates context. Every day of work adds a layer, and the choice gets more precise.
When you connect, you tell Jimmy about yourself and your business: what you do, your goals and focuses, who is on the team, what a good day means for you.
Tasks get their four CALM coordinates. After a month this is no longer a list but an honest picture: where the time goes and what actually moves you forward.
What you accepted, what you swapped, what you moved — and why. Jimmy learns from your edits and offers less of what you usually turn down.
Patterns it notices become rules — but only the ones you approve. The list is open in full, any rule can be deleted. The method calls this the glass box.
The method can be read in one evening — it is open in full. Accumulated context cannot be read: it is only earned with time. The earlier you start, the sharper Jimmy will be — and the less you will have to explain.
Levels
Start simple, go deeper when you are ready. Every level is free right now — early access is running by invite code.
Every morning — the review of the day and what matters today; in the evening — the result. You add tasks by text. Clarity from day one.
Everything in Helper + voice tasks and the CALM method: four answers for every task. Jimmy thinks in your logic.
Everything in Assistant + the weekly ritual: on Friday Jimmy sums up the week and helps you plan the next one. The analytics give you an honest picture: how many days you closed, whether you are moving forward or only holding your position — and whether life, not just work, ever gets into your days.
A helper for everyone on the team + the picture for the manager: who is working on what, what is closed, what is stalled. No reports, no micromanagement.
Everything in Team · Helper + voice and the CALM method for the whole team: one set of marking rules — one shared language for tasks.
The maximum for a manager: the weekly ritual for the whole team, plus analytics per person and for the team as a whole — where the team loses pace, who is overloaded, what gets stuck. Management without reports and status meetings: the picture assembles itself out of the tasks.
A to-do list is endless — a closed day is finite and honest. CALM asks four questions of every task and every morning assembles the Day Focus out of the answers: three tasks you can close — and win the day. The method turns an endless to-do list into a series of closed days.
CALM here is a task management method — Change · Area · Level · Mode, created by Vasily Chernogorov (Василий Черногоров). It is not the Calm meditation app, not SAP Cloud ALM and not the Coordinated Anxiety Learning and Management protocol.
Rule 2+1: Two tasks hold your today. One builds your tomorrow.
4 questions · 3 tasks · 1 closed day.
Turnkey rollout
A format for teams of 5 to 30 people. We do not sell consulting for the sake of consulting: the point of a rollout is that within two weeks your team settles into the system and stays there. We take the manager through an interview, set up the task base, train the team and stay close through the first weeks.
Goals, roles, how the flow of tasks works today
The task base, one set of marking rules, the rhythm of the week
The team starts living in the system, a short training for everyone
We fine-tune alongside you, answer questions, calibrate to the team

Who made Jimmy
My name is Vasily Chernogorov (Василий Черногоров). For twenty years I have run businesses hands-on, as the one who answers for the result: teams, deals, projects in several countries — in recent years distributed, between Dubai, Asia and Europe. I am the author of the CALM method — the one built into Jimmy.
With all that experience of running companies, I eventually admitted something honest to myself: my own system for managing myself was failing. Operations ate the day, strategic tasks stood untouched for months, and in the evening all that was left was guilt over what I had not done. If you have read this far, you probably know the feeling.
The method came out of that point. I built CALM as my own operating system — and I live by it every day: my morning Focus is assembled by the same algorithm that will assemble yours. Jimmy did not start as a startup idea but as a working tool I built for myself first — and only then opened to others. The method is open in full, the canon is versioned, the self-test runs daily.

Frequently asked
You can — and you will get one-off advice from someone who forgets everything by tomorrow. Jimmy is not a chat but an assistant with memory and a rhythm: it knows your goals and context, sees tasks over time, remembers what you postponed and why, and comes to you every morning without being asked.
From three sources. When you connect — the setup: your goals, your roles, what a good day means for you. Then the marking of your tasks by the CALM method (Change · Area · Level · Mode), plus dates and projects. And learning from your decisions: what you accept, what you reject, what you keep moving. The final word is always yours — Jimmy proposes, you decide.
Right now Jimmy works on top of Todoist. If you do not have it yet, a free account takes a couple of minutes and we will help you set it up when you connect. Integrations with other systems are on the roadmap. Tell us which one you use — it affects the order.
No. Jimmy does not store your tasks and does not make you migrate — the list stays in Todoist. It solves a different problem: not "where do I keep my tasks" but "which of them do I do today". Task managers are excellent at accumulating tasks; Jimmy helps you choose them, do them, and keep the list from turning into a swamp.
Jimmy connects to Todoist with a personal token you can revoke at any moment. The analysis runs on the Claude API (Anthropic) — the data is not used for model training. We store the minimum: your settings and the context you gave Jimmy yourself. Nothing is published and nothing goes to third parties.
Nothing right now: early access is free for the first 50 users by invite code. Early users get their price locked in when the paid version opens.
Jimmy for Teams (team mode) is on the way: a personal assistant for every employee plus a daily and weekly picture for the manager, without reports and micromanagement. Leave a request — pilot teams are onboarded personally. If you need it faster and deeper, there is the turnkey rollout.
CALM (Change · Area · Level · Mode) is a task management method by Vasily Chernogorov: four questions for every task, a day matrix and the 2+1 rule, which together assemble the Day Focus every morning — three tasks. Success of the day = the Focus is closed. The next three are the Bonus: made it, and that is good. The method is open in full — the axes, the algorithm, the canon and even a ready-made prompt.
A 2×2 matrix answers "what is important and what is urgent" — and leaves you with four quadrants of tasks. CALM asks four questions — about consequences, about movement, about the area of life and about tomorrow — and does not stop at the layout: it assembles a day you can close. Focus 3, Bonus 3, zero overdue by morning.
Yes. The method does not depend on the tool: four coordinates and a date — it works in any tracker and even on paper. Task selection is a function of the marking, not an opinion: the same list gives the same day to anyone. There is a ready-made prompt to run CALM in any language model. What Jimmy does is make the method effortless: marking by a nod, a finished Focus every morning.
Jimmy is in closed testing: the first 50 users get full access free of charge by invite code. In return we ask for one thing — honest feedback. When the paid version opens, the price for early users stays locked in for good.
